This month Michael Myjak will provide a presentation on the Indian River Lagoon Roundtable organization.

The IRL Round Table is a nonpartisan, non-affiliated grassroots organization that unifies and amplifies the voices of all citizen environmentalists.

“We discover and explore environmental issues that are not addressed by existing organizations, but may have a significant adverse effect on the Indian River Lagoon and should be considered for the benefit of all.”

The Objectives of the IRL Round Table are:

•    Provide the Indian River Lagoon and its stakeholders with a powerful, unified voice that will result in actions that resolve unaddressed issues.
•    Undertake politically charged or unpopular issues that are off-limits to organizations.
•    Assist local and state restoration programs.
•    Provide an information clearinghouse for the environmental issues we explore.

Michael Myjak is a member of the Indian River Lagoon Roundtable and the chairman of Speak Up Titusville PAC.  Michael is a retired scientist.  In retirement he pays close attention to the demise of our birds, manatees and estuary. The space center drew Michael to Florida in the 1980s.  Michael ran a successful enterprise architecture consulting business prior to his retirement in 2009. Since then, Michael has volunteered his time in civic activities that help our environment.
