The 2023 Brevard Legislative Delegation will meet on January 11, 2023 (5:30pm-9:30pm) in the Brevard County Commission Chambers at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, FL 32940.
The meeting will provide local government entities, community organizations, and citizens of Brevard County with the opportunity to publicly share with the delegation issues that are important to them in anticipation of the 2023 Legislative Session.
The Brevard Legislative Delegation meeting agenda will begin with local bill proposals by delegation members, presentations by local government entities, followed by appearances from members of the public. This will be the only scheduled meeting of the delegation prior to the 2023 Legislative Session, which begins on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
State Rep. Thad Altman will chair the 2023 Brevard Legislative Delegation. Rep. Altman will also chair the 2023 Florida House of Representatives Agriculture and Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee.
Other Florida House members in the delegation are Chase Tramont in District 30, Tyler Sirois in District 31, Randy Fine in District 33 and Robert Brackett in District 34. Florida senators in the delegation are Tom Wright in District 8, who is vice chair of the Brevard Legislative delegation, and Debbie Mayfield in District 19.
